Zoom Lecture Series: Josh Singer & Adam Parker

April 30, 2020 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The Library Society presents – from the comfort and safety of your own homes – an opportunity to hear from Academy Award winning screenwriter Josh Singer in conversation with Post and Courier’s Adam Parker! This event is free and open to the public, but requires an RSVP. To RSVP, click here.

Although Josh Singer graduated with honors in mathematics and economics from Yale, went on to Harvard for joint Law/MBA degrees, he chose a career that used his great talents with the English language – to write.  His first major job in the entertainment industry was as an editor and writer for the hit TV series, The West Wing, and from there he blossomed as a screenwriter, winning Best Oscar and Best Original Screenplay for the movie, SPOTLIGHT in 2016. Singer’s other screenwriting credits include The Fifth Estate (2013), The Post (2017), and First Man (2018).

Josh and the Post and Courier’s Adam Parker will discuss journalism and movie-making through screenwriting and how both have been impacted by our current pandemic.

This event is free and open to the public, but requires an RSVP. To RSVP, click on the link below and fill out the form. All those who respond will receive an email on Wednesday, April 29th with the link and password to the Zoom meeting!
