Everyone should have the opportunity to access and appreciate live theatre. Think opera isn’t for you? You might be delightfully surprised! Join CLS for an evening of beautiful (& approachable!) opera with HALO.
The evening will include a lecture and preview performance of our upcoming production of Verdi’s “La traviata”. Opera. For y’all. It’s what Verdi and HALO have in common. Whether you’ve seen 100 operas or this is your first one, this lecture offers the inside scoop on:
• How our production–set in 1986–tells the same story Verdi set to music in 1853
• What to listen for in Verdi’s music that makes it so sublime
Please Note: We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and greatly value the safety of our patrons.
