Music at the Library: Adryn Sumner – Lit Classical

January 30, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Bravo. Welcome rebels, dissenters and revolutionaries. Good on you.

You took the first step in checking out the OGs of the Classical World. We can all agree that music makes the world go ’round and we have the Classical Greats to thank for it.

So many of the musical artists you follow today credit their early classical training as inspiration and often borrow structure, theory and full on melodies from the bank of Classical genius to create the music you love. Go straight to the source and meet the artists who pushed boundaries, broke through barriers and shook the system further than any artists today all while living in a world filled with wars, loves won and lost, personal defeats and tragedies, heartbreaks and public humiliations in tell-all books. You know – life as we know it today.

They starved for their art, made bad decisions and partied until dawn. Sound familiar? These artists are sharing their truths with you through their music the same way you’re hearing lyrics in your earbuds. In a world dominated by everything new, now and happening, meet the artists who represent what’s lit and relevant today.

Join us for Adryn Sumner’s Lit Classical, a concert showing us different perspectives on well-known classical composers. Pianist ADRYN performs and introduces you to the human side of some of the greatest composers and musicians of all time. You’ll see just how much you relate to these geniuses and understand the messages they are sharing through their timeless music.

Tickets for this concert are $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. For tickets, call 843-723-9912 or click here

This concert is generously sponsored by The Martello Family.
