Life Long Learning: Optimism in AI// Four-week Course

January 26, 2026 @ 10:30 am - February 16, 2026 @ 12:00 pm

$185.00 – $235.00

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly woven into daily life, many of us are asking: What exactly is it? How do we begin to understand a technology that is advancing so quickly? And, most importantly, how can we use it with intention and confidence?

We are delighted to welcome Ginny Deerin, a seasoned non-profit leader, entrepreneur, and creator of the aiGED podcast—for a four-week Life Long Learning series on AI. Ginny will offer an accessible, forward-looking introduction to this fast-moving field, guiding participants through practical, hands-on ways AI can support everyday tasks, enhance creativity, and add a sense of ease and enjoyment to daily life. Each session will focus on real-world use, with time to explore tools together.

To get the most out of the course, participants are encouraged to bring a smartphone, laptop, or iPad.

About Ginny Deerin

Ginny Deerin currently serves as the Major Gifts Officer at the International African American Museum (IAAM) with prior and the creator of aiGED—a social/web series and podcast that helps adults 65+ learn to use artificial intelligence. A lifelong nonprofit leader and entrepreneur, Ginny founded WINGS for Kids in 1996, now a nationally recognized after‑school program for social‑emotional learning operating in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and California.
