About the Greystar Leadership & Business Series:
In 2019, the Library Society began an exciting collaboration with Greystar, one of the most significant business entities in Charleston, to help share our history and resources with the Lowcountry’s broader business community. On November 13, 2019 the Library Society hosted Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of the Blackstone Group, for its inaugural Greystar Business and Leadership Series. The following year, the series entertained David Rubenstein, Founder, the Carlyle Group, who discussed his love of history – and American historians in particular. The Covid pandemic interrupted our programming, but this spring we look forward to renewing our partnership by having Charlestonian, Sallie Krawcheck, CEO and Co-Founder of Ellevest, share her perspectives with Wes Fuller.
