For the Love of Libraries… and Postcards!

December 2 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

$10.00 – $15.00

It is a pleasure to host former Trustee and Board Chair of the Charleston Library Society, Jerry Mitchell, for a lighthearted and informative gallop through the varieties of library architecture and the curiosities of library history that speak to the ongoing love affair that exists for these institutions of knowledge – something we hope will endure for future generations. Focusing on a curated assortment of his extensive postcard collection, Jerry will share illustrated images, along with the occasional challenges of acquiring them, and the stories associated for institutions nationwide (including many that follow our member-supported structure).

Prior to the program, we invite our Fellows Members to enjoy Happy Hour from 5:00 – 6:00pm, downstairs in the Dr. Suzan D. Boyd Fellows Club Lounge.
