This summer the Library Society will offer a Summer Camp for young learners and lovers of books who will enjoy this week long camp with opportunities to work on the book arts. Campers are encouraged to bring their summer reading assignments because they will be given the time to read, to receive tutoring support services from a certified teacher and intern, and to learn skills in varying crafts.
Target age for camp-goers is rising 6th through 9th graders, but there is room for passionate learners. The capacity for this camp is 8, so if you or someone you know might be interested, please reserve a spot today!
The camp’s schedule will be broken up into 3 themes. The Bindery & Printing Arts, Illustration Arts, and Paper Arts. Each craft will be centered on the week’s theme and will provide camp-goers with a new skill that will enhance their love of books.
