Charleston Library Society staff will creatively use books, crafts, and activities to encourage campers’ educational curiosity and sense of discovery, through hands-on learning in the Library Society’s historical setting. Our maker projects will focus on STEM with a storytelling theme, including building, circuitry, book and paper arts, and more.
Each day of Library Society camp will begin with a book talk, which will include books from your child’s summer reading lists as well as new and classic items in our collection related to our camp theme. Our books and themes will make for a fun, literary, and interactive camp session for your first through third graders, finishing with a pizza party on Friday!
Registration deadline: Friday, June 1st
