The workshop will introduce the history of paper marbling which dates back to the 10th century\, and provide insights into materials\, tools\, and techniques to create your own unique papers. In support of The Book Drop initiative by the Charleston Library Society\, Up\, Up & Read! will celebrate children’s literature and nurture the community through programming that cultivates and connects readers of diverse ages and backgrounds with beloved children’s authors\, while inspiring children to WANT to read and make reading accessible to every child\, regardless of circumstances.
